Swift-Cantrell Park features 42 acres of land and is the City of Kennesaw’s largest community park. Kennesaw Skatepark is a 40,000 sq ft skatepark featuring a Street League Skateboarding (SLS) Foundation Certified Skate Plaza, flow course and bowl. ![]() Over 3,000 plant species and 30 sculptures by nationally known artists are available for exhibition and study. Visitors can explore the home and gardens surrounding an 1880s plantation home. Smith-Gilbert Gardens (formerly Smith-Gilbert Arboretum) Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive Historyįeaturing “The General” from the Great Locomotive Chase during the Civil War, the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History tells the story of our railroads through special exhibits, archives, library, and museum collections. From the top of the mountain, you can see downtown Atlanta and the surrounding area.
